Our swim school operates during school terms only. The school will be closed during school holidays and public holidays.

Full payment of the lessons is required at the time of enrolment. The preferred payment method is Electronic transfer. Other acceptable payment methods are cash and cheque.

Lessons will be from Monday to Thursday. Friday lessons will be arranged only on exceptions.

Make up Lesson Policy

Make-up lessons will be available only on production of a certificate from one of the following:

• Medical Doctor
• Physiotherapist
• Dentist

A Maximum of 2 Make-up lessons per term is permitted.

TINCO Swimschool will be closed and no swimming lessons will be conducted on the following days below :

• Fridays & Sundays
• Gauteng School holidays
• Public holidays

Termination

Student is required to serve one month written notice (before the 2nd of the month) to withdraw from swimming lessons. The full monthly fee is payable for the notice month.

Adverse weather & Safety Precautious

The swimming instructor reserve the rights to cancel or postpone the swimming lesson in bad weather conditions for safety reasons. Due to any unforeseen circumstances, once a swimming lesson has commenced and has to be called off in the middle of a lesson, land-drills exercise, water safety theory or Q&A session may be conducted in replacement of the usual practical lessons such as, but not limited to, if the weather is not suitable to continue any pool-based lesson. Therefore, please attend classes regardless of weather conditions unless you have been informed of cancellation. Swimming lessons will continue under drizzling rain.

Attendance

There will be no refunds or make-up lessonsfor any absenteeism, late coming or cancelation of any sort, unless an arrangement has been made with TINCO swimschool prior to the swimming lesson.

The full monthly fee is applicable, even if a child cannot attend the lessons for whatever reason, unless an arrangement has been made with TINCO swimschool. An arrangement can be made in advance to reserve the classes for the child at 50% of the normal fee if you will not be able to attend the classes for a period of time. Please contact us in advance to make an arrangement. NO exceptions will be made when the child did not attend the classes without an arrangement! You are still responsible for all fees payable even you did not attend the classes.

Relief of Swimming Instructor

In the event of unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to send a relief swimming instructor should your swimming instructor be unavailable.

Temporary Discontinuation

Students are required to serve a written notice to reserve the swimming lessons for the child while away from holiday, or for any other reason, at 50% of the normal fee.

Responsibility

We will not be held responsible for any claims arising out of any injury, damage or loss of life while attending this course and this includes all costs, and expenses incurred as a result of such claims.
